National Treasures: Vermeer in Edinburgh

Another one of the loans celebrating the bicentenary of the National Gallery in London is that of Johannes Vermeer’s A Young Woman Standing at a Virginal to the National Galleries Scotland. The artwork is now on display alongside an early Vermeer from the Scottish national collection, Christ in the House of Martha and Mary. from about 1654 - 1655.
